She is the same…wd remain the same

The train is about to leave. Dad, mom and I are standing there n having a smooth conversation.
The train buzzes a whistle and I bid farewell to mom n dad. Take blessings from dad n give a nice long hug to mom n then board the train. The train starts moving and simultaneously mamma’s eyes are filled with tears…
I keep on peeping out of the door — smiling n asking her not to cry n waving my hand at the same time. Then I give her a call after 5-10 mins and she is alright by then.

It has been more than a year. This scene has become a part n parcel of our lives as I travel to and back from home every weekend.

But a few things never change…this is the same way my mom bids me goodbye every time…however hard she may try but her eyes are filled with tears. Thinking about it does moisten my eyes later on but I fail to understand that moment—what happens to her when she sees me leaving. The only thing i can understand is — she loves me very much and it's very difficult for her to bear this feeling of seperation.

Mom, you are just too wonderful for words. But I want to say this anyway, because you deserve to hear it: I love you and I always will with all my heart… forever & ever & ever…
Thanks for not only being the Best MOM but also for being my Best FRIEND :)

Frooti Chaiye

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

I can never ever grow up!!!
Yestday ‘fter returning 4m office, I had a desperate urge to drink Frooti. As I had already changed and was in my favorite skimpy attire, I tried forcing my friend Tanu to get it for me. But as she is the sleeping beauty of our PG, she refused bcoz she had more important dreams to visualize than quenching my thirst with that dodo drink.
I tried my level best to convince her & wake her up from her not so deep slumber, but...:( hard luck!!!
Finally I called up Ravi and the conversation goes as follows:

Ravi: Hello!
Gari(Almost in a shrill): Muje Frooti chahiye!!!! Maine aadhe kapde pehne hain n tanu ne pure kapde pehne hain fir bhi vo mere lie frooti nahi laa rahi. Aap usko daant lagao.
Tanu is all laughing but a bit queasy to talk to him…but afterall meri kuchh to chalti hai naa :)
Ravi: Meri biwi ko frooti chaiye, plz get her one
Tanu: Nahi, main nahi jaungi

I myself don’t believe but I was acting like a child shouting loudly and throwing my arms and legs in air…muje frooti chaiye, muje frooti chaiye, muje frooti chaiye.......

Ravi is such a sweetheart..he literally begged Tanu to get a bottle of Frooti for me..the conversation continues..
Ravi: if u’ll get Frooti for her then you’ll become my favorite saali
Tanu: muje nahi banana favorite saali…saale dono log pakaau ho…muje sone do.
Ravi: plz plz plz
Tanu: ok..let me sleep for 5 mins and I’ll get her Frooti after 5 mins.
Ravi to Gari: Vo 5 mins me laa rahi hai betu..
Gari(seeing Tanu sleeping gloriously): Vo nahi laa rahi :(:(:(unwaaaa
Tanu: main agar Frooti laungi to muje kya milega?
Ravi: agar 5 mins me le aaegi to jo chaiye sab mil jaega
Tanu: muje 1 diamond necklace chaiye.
Ravi: Done! Get her frooti in 5 mins and you’ll get it.
Tanu(Realizing her tanupanti): Nahi…muje 10 mins chaiye…and started abusing me with some indecent words which are the most friendly words in the dictionary of friends--Saali Kutti Kameeni..
Gari to Ravi: Main saali, kutti kameeniI hun kya??? Tanu bol rahi hai :(:(
Ravi: Saali to vo hai :D:D

Tanu(Totally irritated and smiling as well): Plz chup ho jao tum log...dimag ka dahi kar diya hai!!!

And the conversation continues…and the desire to have Frooti getting stronger and stronger in me. Finally my dear friend agrees to get me a frooti which brings a triumphant smile on my hero’s face.
Ravi: Aur kuchh chaiye Shonu?
Gari: Muje popcorn bhi chaiye
Ravi: Hum to apna dil le ke baithe hain hatheli mein…and aap popcorn ki farmaish kar rahe hain??? :(
Gari is all blushing
Ravi: Fenfde(Lungs) me haath daal ke nikala hai..n aap hans rahe ho???


And we both were laughing to our fullest blood rushing through our cheeks, unable to speak even a single word...


Awww..how I loved it!!! It left my face all pink and giggles.
Some moments in life simply make you smile. Those little times , when added together, makes Life a lot more than just ... :)
This is what I call Happiness.



And ya!!! i got that Frooti too...within 10 mins :) That saves Ravi from getting a diamond necklace for her favorite saali ;)

Socha Naa Tha

Phewww…..Life has been hectic for me since last so many months. I completed my graduation, got placed in a company which has ample work to distribute among employees, got engaged to a perfect ‘Hero’, had an awsome…outstanding…fabulous courtship period, and started preparing for D DAY…:)
Everything feels good...as if I was born to face all this :), Njoying my shopping spree to its fullest, going home traveling a distance of 744 km every weekend and coming back the next day.

But this time something different happened. I went home but did not involve myself in any shopping or any kind of shaadi ki taiyari. Instead I spared some time for my family and frenz. Met all my close and dear relatives and finally…went to one of my very gud friend’s place to pay a visit. But it turned out to be a miracle for me. Shailja…a friend with whom I have spent very gud time in my college days. We did all the things we used to do in our golden days…college days. We chatted a lot, put on a movie…Socha naa thaa as usual(this name seems to be apt for the situation I am in), had snacks n coffee and…laughed a lotttttttt. Both of us were remembering those old days and how I used to go to her place almost daily and we used to share our dreams, emotions, assignments etc etc including the gossips of all the ppl we knew….Owww, How much we loved it. I use to wander aimlessly in college and school corridors, laughed at things which were nothing at all, had lots n lots of getogethers, parties, night stays and what not...

Seriously, Socha Na Tha that all these new progress in my life will happen so soon and I wont even come to know of it.Every thing seem to be changed all of a sudden. My daily activities, my dreams, my chatters, my likings & dislikings, preferences, priorities…I mean…I feel my life has turned upside down all of a sudden. And it struck me that I am really really missing all that. I used to be a big time movie fan…and now there have been times when I haven’t seen a single one in past 3 months, I loved being frenz with all and chatter with anybody and everybody…and now I don’t have time to give calls even to my dearest pals. I mean…I am happy and content with Ravi n my new life…but since my visit to Shailja’s place…I feel I am missing a part of my life.
Very True...You dont realize the importance of something unless its gone.
